Chris Tille works at the intersection of science and art. Trained as a classical photographer in Innsbruck, Austria, he now uses photography, installation, and sculpture to visualize complex data sets — transforming scientific principles and discoveries into accessible, emotionally resonant experiences.
His series draw from a wide range of research fields, which he interprets, reconfigures, and meticulously reconstructs into large-scale works that make invisible phenomena perceptible to the public.
In 2022 and 2024, he was recognized as one of 99 Future Blue Chip Artists worldwide. In 2025, he received the Maurice de Mauriac Award at Photo Basel — honoring his innovative artistic approach and the uniqueness of his data-driven practice.
